Positive: I absolutely loved my stay at Sapodilla Ubud! The location is perfect, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and places to explore within walking distance.
What truly makes this hotel special is the staff. Everyone is incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home, always ready to help with transportation, recommendations, or anything you might need.
The breakfast is delicious, and I highly recommend trying the floating breakfast. It was such a lovely experience!
The entire stay felt warm, peaceful, and personal. You can really tell how much they care about their guests. I would absolutely stay here again whenever I return to Ubud. Highly recommended!

Sapodilla is a beautiful little boutique hotel with a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere that feels like a lovely escape from the bustle of Ubud. The food was absolutely delicious too, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ate during my stay!
But what really makes this place special is the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely caring, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
A special mention to Rasmini and Abi, who were both absolutely wonderful and made me feel so welcome. Rasmini in particular went above and beyond to help me with some arrangements during my stay, and I was so grateful for her kindness and flexibility. The hospitality I experienced here really stayed with me, and I left feeling as though I’d made friends rather than simply stayed at a hotel.
Thank you to the whole team for making my time at Sapodilla so memorable. I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Ubud! ❤️

Sapodilla is only a 30-minute walk from the palace (city center), and the hotel offers a free shuttle at any time if needed.
We enjoyed having breakfast on the terrace overlooking the swimming pool.
The staff is very welcoming.
The hotel is located right next to the ARMA Museum & Resort, which hosts different types and themes of traditional dance performances every evening. We greatly enjoyed these shows and highly recommend them as well.

I am obsessed with this hotel, it felt like my home away from home in Ubud. I extended 3 extra nights and I already miss it. The staff is just the absolute sweetest. They care so much about their guests, they come to your room twice a day and tidy up and bring extra waters and leave you a "bedtime story" on your bed every night. The breakfast is delicious and there are so many options to choose from. The space is immaculate and so so clean - I am incredibly sensitive to hotel rooms and cleanliness and i never once had an issue here. The property is just lovely and beautiful and quaint. Its in a good location and easy to walk or get a Grab to get to wherever you need to go. I miss Sapodilla so much!
