Holsworthy, 5 miles, has a good selection of local shops and supermarkets along with a weekly market. The market towns of Okehampton and Launceston, with their historic castle, are a short drive away. To have a break from cooking, there are several good pubs and restaurants close by. For family fun, The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks make for a great day out. Coastal and country walking, golf, surfing, fishing, horse riding and cycling are all on offer close by, and Dartmoor National Park is a must for nature lovers.
