“Pros: very friendly staff (felt almost at home), good dining options (buffet, restaurant, bar), free transport to the local beaches (Koukounaries and Maratha) Cons: no lifts. It was difficult to get the pram 3 stairs up and down at least 2-3 times a day. No inclusivity for disabled as well (I've done a reservation for my parents in law, which i had to cancel - received a full refund for this- because there was other means of disabled people to get to different levels. I was disappointed for a 5star hotel, not to have a provision for disabled. Not recommended for families with small kids that have got prams or people with moving difficulties.”

“The building & rooms are a little dated. Some maintenance is definitely required. Our room was spacious, but had a badly scratched floor & missing panel on the vanity in the bathroom. The staff were wonderful & always helpful. A nice bonus to have a complimentary bus into town that you booked the night before. No lifts, but the staff helped with our cases so it wasn’t a problem.”

“The property was in poor condition. Air conditioner stunk like sewage, and entire 6th floor. Could not use! Maid service was horrible. Lacked cleaniness in rooms. Poor or lacked amenities. Staff was outright poor and not friendly. Buffet was crowded and service was not extended to other available area. There were holes in bathroom doors and prices for bar drinks were extremely expensive. I would avoid this place!”

“Difficult to get to the hotel without a car - especially with luggage. The bus stop, while "nearby", requires a steep climb either via stairs or their long driveway. The hotel does not have lifts and it requires another trek to get to the rooms. The beach is down the same steps, and even further down. The hotel should have shouldered the cost of the beach lounger given their rates are not cheap. Mediocre breakfast, which they did not make an effort for - but guess what? You have no choice as you need to trek to get to a place to eat. No free shuttle to town during the day - only at night. The rooms are beautiful, but this does not compensate for all the other issues.”

“We had a bad start with a no show transfer but the staff were amazing by generously making up for the mistake with complimentary dinner and wine - this turned a negative into a positive and we were very appreciative.”

“Best view on the island! Staff very very focused on hospitality. Was such a welcome relief to stay here for r n r after a few weeks of traveling n feeling very tired. If elderly or mobility problem just be aware many stairs and no lift”

“Lovely hotel, friendly staff and beautiful grounds, in a great location. Room was a bit basic, but clean and tidy. Food was very good and the free bus to town a nice touch, although late both times (must be Greek time) we booked this. Also hired a couple of quads from Aegean near Reception. All in all everything was good.”
