“Staff are lovely and keep the hotel very clean, but unfortunately it is close to a couple of restaurants which can be quite noisy at night.”

“I had visited Ememen many times before but this was my first time staying overnight. I stayed for two nights. Everything was closed due to the day being a Sunday and Monday was a holiday but I enjoyed my room it's bar and two restuarants. All the employees were awesome. Especially the cook whi checked me in and gave me a lot of great advice about Emmen and Dutch food. I did not get her name but, it was the skinny lady. She was the upstairs cook and when I ordered room service she was the one who brought me the food. They have a very cool black and white cat. Fresh Heineken on tap. My room had a balcony which I loved. I recommend a rooftop smoking area if possible. Someplace where you can smoke cigarettes or weed. ”

“In the downtown core an excellent choice to stay a few nights in Emmen. Walking distance to all , good dutch breakfast and a friendly staff. Many good reasons to come back”

“Incredible people and an incredible city. If you want to be in the center of a small, yet vocal town; this is the hotel for you. The rooms are up to date, and equipped with good old AC if you’re here during the summer. The people are unlike anything else I’ve encountered. Kind, and warm people who are always open to helping you out. Don’t let the back entrance fool you, this is truly a one of a kind place to be. ”

“Simple and comfortable enough room in a small hotel in centre of Emmen. Location great for us and includes free parking. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Breakfast simple but very good - fruit bread excellent! Friendly service. ”

“Hotel Boerland is smacked in the middle of the downtown, closer you cannot get. Clean and sufficient rooms, a gated parking lot, and close to all emmenities it is ideally situated for a visit to Emmen, the Zoo ( WIldlands) and much more”

“We only really needed somewhere to sleep & shower, as our stay in Emmen was to visit Speedway Emmen Banger & Stock Car Racing, & were out in the daytime, & spent the evenings in the local Restaurants, Bars, etc. The Hotel location is great, being so close to Bars, Nightclubs, & places to get great value food (Wereldrestaurant Puur) A bedside table in the room would of been a good thing, as well as Tea & Coffee making facilities. One of the beds was on a slope!”
