Positive: I didn't realize the motel offered a breakfast until now, while filling out the post-stay questionnaire. The clerk checking us in didn't mention a breakfast being part of the deal. We did have breakfast at a nearby restaurant called First Awakenings which was a delightful dining experience in a beautiful old building. I highly recommend it.
Negative: I guess you could have mentioned the free breakfast!
Summary: The Steinbeck Lodge met the basic travel needs for a night's sleep before hitting the road in the AM
