Steinbeck Lodge | Hotel in Salinas, California

“A very clean motel-helpful staff. Great price.”

“Clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. Unit was recently updated and had modern fixtures. One small indicator was the flexible reading lights over the bed. I can't remember seeing such a feature in more expensive hotel rooms.”

“No Kleenex, dead fly on wall in bathroom”

“Really nice stay, plan to confirm before arrival as they were not at front desk”

“I appreciated the late check out. However, the bathroom needed to be more thoroughly cleaned. The security door latch was also broken. It would have also been nice to have a tissue box and chair in the room.”

“Nice renovated motel in a quiet location. No breakfast, but the price was very good. I would recommend it and would stay here again.”

“Rooms were clean. Only downside is that the floors were dirty. Looked clean yet after walking around the room with no shoes on our feet were filthy. Parking was short both evenings. Ended up in a handicap spot since the lodge was sold out. Quiet corner spot. Definitely need a car to get around. Stayed two nights.”

“We stayed here because it was close to the John Steinbeck home which offers tours on Sundays during the Summer. The room was clean and comfortable. The parking was available with a good sized lot.”

“Clean Well lit parking lot”

“Everything was to be expected from a motel in Salinas”
