Gorgeous property, cozy and charming B&B. Very clean and tidy, lots of lovely little touches to the area and the room. The hosts were wonderful and friendly, happy to help with anything needed. Will definitely be coming back to stay again in future.

The hosts have equipped this cozy cottage thoughtfully, making it a very comfortable and delightful place to stay.

The cottage is really nice and cosy with nice seats out in front to chill and soak in the surroundings. Margaret, our host, was also really friendly and helpful. She provided us additional breakfast items when she worried the original items might not suit our palate. She also provided us medicine when one of us felt ill and offered to drive us to the nearest town when we said we needed to rent a car. Great place to stay if you want to take a ride on Puffing Billy!

Warm and inviting free standing, self-contained cottage, 5 minutes away from the centre of Belgrave. Lovely furnishings, the smallest details taken care of. Gorgeous garden surrounds to look out on, especially with the autumn colours. Generous continental breakfast, and the owner Margaret was lovely and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Cute and comfortable attic bedroom, with 2 beds, tv/dvd player and heater was a bonus and made the stay fun! Close enough to the Belgrave town centre to walk, and take advantage of cafes and the cinema. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, highly recommend and will definately return!!

Belgrave has alot to offer and a stay at Stones Throw Cottage will not disappoint, its cosy,comfortable and well appointed , the cottage is within a 10 minute walk to town and the main attraction Puffing Billy, if you are arriving by train take my advice let Margaret know and she may be able to come and pick you up.

Comfortable place to spend time Away. Close to activities we wanted

We (myself, husband and daughter) spent three very comfortable nights at this B&B. At this charming little cottage, french doors opened onto a lovely garden where we could feed the bright coloured birds that came right onto the balcony. The continental breakfast was varied and delicious and our lovely hostess had made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was sufficiently equipped that we could make simple meals although nearby Belgrave offered a range of restaurants and cafes. Our daughter enjoyed her own private space with own entrance in the cute little attic. Molly (the dog) and Lucy (the cat) made us feel right at home yet the luxurious bathrobes and quality touches made our stay every bit a holiday!
