“It is a quaint old fashioned type motel-the rooms are clean, beds comfortable. It’s nothing fancy but is a perfect place to lay your head while in the area. I’d definitely stay here again. The cleanliness really impressed me.”

“In truth, it's an older property without a ton of bells and whistles but it was well maintained and clean. The beds were comfy, and the shower was hot. The views? Impeccable. The continental breakfast was modest but we weren't looking for 5 stars and spa appointments. We would be happy to stay again if our travels bring us back,”

“This is an old school one story motor in on the CT river. My son and I stayed for an event at Dartmouth and loved it. All the people who work there are so so kind and I felt like I went back in time. We drove by some nearby chain hotels and were so glad we were staying at the Sunset.”

“The sheets were clean, the room was comfortable enough, but the room was stuffy with stale smell when we arrived. The staff happened to be there when we checked in, but was otherwise unavailable.”

“Yes, this is an old-fashioned roadside, single story, motor hotel badly in need of updating. However, my room was clean, the proprietor was friendly and helpful and, best of all, the river view was awesome! I had the King room with the Riverview in the newer building at the back. I would stay there again for the river view.”
