“Unfortunately I thought by the picture that I booked a room with a tub in it. N a balcony. But pictures are very deceiving.”

“It was a beautiful room! It could have been more clean in my opinion. The bed sheets smelled like they had been in the closet for a few months before use. There was dirt around the windows and the remote only worked next to the tv. The room was scorching hot at midnight and so finally I asked for some help and was informed the only option was a box fan. It did help but I had to open up my room for a little to get the fresh air flowing. I had previously paid for a late 1 pm check out. And the day of check out at 11 am I get a phone call asking if I needed any help with checking out. I said, Uh no I paid extra on top of the already high enough expense to check out Later and then they had to double check, confirmed and apologized. I reserved the room for one person and they set it up for a couple. But it’s ok. Otherwise it was beautiful”

“Clean, quiet room with a beautiful view of the beach. Pool, hot tub and sauna were all in great condition. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.”

“The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. They called our room about 30 minutes after check in to make sure everything was ok. They have a nice deck area for sun bathing or ocean watching. There is a nice gathering area with fire places, an indoor pool etc. The property was very nice. My only complaint is that the bed was not very comfortable. I actually had a difficult time sleeping and my body was sore. However, our son did not seem to think the bed was uncomfortable. Go figure. Definitely worth checking out.”

“The centralized location, ocean views, and direct beach access were very nice features. The room was comfortable, though a fan or a/c unit would have been nice, as the windows did not open very far (understandable as a safety feature, but did restrict air flow). Staff were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Overall we had a very nice stay and would choose this hotel again.”

“They advertised two queen beds, they are actually full size not queens. Not as comfortable not hapoy they did that and they know they do this. Won't be coming back. Can't lie to your customers”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Surfland Hotel. It’s in a great location on the beach with easy access to the beach. They have a cute and comfy courtyard with fireplaces and games for kids. We liked the hot tub and pool and it was nice that they had an adults only time. The room was clean with a beautiful view of the ocean and we enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely stay again!”

“We absolutely loved this hotel! The hot breakfast each morning was excellent, the ocean front views and location were amazing, and the fire pits were perfect for relaxing each night. This is one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed at!”
