The house is spotless! Very clean and well maintained! The room is perfect. We are traveling and booking one day at a time as we go and this has been the best place during this long trip. Exactly what we needed.

Great place to go and relax, its pretty much in the middle on nowhere so lots of piece and quiet. Close to Colonial Beach and Westmoreland State Park. Provided breakfast was good.

Making a reservation with Claudette was effortless. Breakfast was great-she offered options and Randolph’s dinner recommendation was spot on. It was lovely to be literally in the woods. I went away to have peace and quiet and that’s what I got. Do yourself a favor and calmly, slowly drive to this spot in the woods where you will be given a friendly wave by passersby-on the off chance someone passes by your car! 😅

The service here was absolutely phenomenal. Claudette was an absolute pleasure to work with and made the check in a breeze. The rooms were gorgeous, and the bathtub experience was divine! She even had different aromatherapy bath products for whatever energy you're looking for. We were in the area for a wedding in Tappahannock, and in the course of our one night stay we ended up needing a hair dryer, a clothes iron, and a few other knick knack type items that we forgot. Claudette didn't just have these things available; they were all already in the room so we didn't even need to ask! The breakfast was delicious and was catered to our likes. There are both coffee and tea offers. The peach hibiscus tea was delightful. The property borders a beaver pond and there are a few trails that take you down to the water. My husband and I enjoyed a morning stroll listening to the frogs and watching the turtles and fish popping out of the water every so often. We are already planning a return trip to the area, and even if this location is slightly out of the way for our trip, we'll definitely be staying here again!
