“Wonderful pub, full of character in very peaceful setting. Lovely bright room looking out on the garden and you can hear the sound of the birds. Good well-appointed en-suite with easy to use shower. Only 26 minutes drive to Stonehenge!”

“Cute cottage, not for anyone mobility challenged. Very hot bedroom, didn't sleep much because of that (need lighter weight duvets), shame as otherwise lovely room & very quiet. Lovely to eat supper overlooking the field of sheep and lambs. Food was average. Pub chairs could be more comfy. Breakfast rather small (a full english was one mushroom, 1 small sausage, 1/2 tomato, scrambled egg & 2 very crispy bits of bacon. Had to request toast. Cold option was lovely but limited, juice, granola, yogurt & compote. Nice walks to be had from the door (we enjoyed the river walk through fields to a church, starting virtually opposite the pub). ”

“Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street. Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks. Plenty of car parking right opposite”

“It's a beautiful pub, the staff are exceptional. Food was delicious and well presented. The accommodation was warm and cosy, super clean and comfortable. I cannot rate our stay enough and would most certainly go back. ”

“Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Bedroom noisy when pub is full. Bathroom was basic with bath and shower hose. Alternative bathrooms are available. Pretty location. Front could do with being tidier.”
