“We stayed here one night, we will be back we loved it, lovely clean tidy room, homely, not kneen that dogs could stay in our room I'm very fussy! We had an evening meal the food was excellent a sunday roast very very homemade and very tasty, some nice pubs around the street to check out too.”

“The place looks a bit drab from the outside but inside we had a warm welcome from Mary and Lynn and very much enjoyed the cosy bar and restaurant. The rooms were comfortable and warm, the latter an important consideration given that we were hiking and getting wet! ”

“The Globe is a terrific inn in Chagford. The people who run it are friendly and welcoming. They very kindly went above and beyond to get the room ready a bit earlier for us so we could attend a wedding in the church opposite. Speaking of - what a glorious view from our room! Our room was clean and comfy and full of charm and it was great to have a sign on our table welcoming us to breakfast the next morning. ”

“So friendly and welcoming, great location. Nicely furnished bedrooms in an old coaching inn. Service good and a decent English breakfast. ”
