The Historic Requa Inn Reviews
“Great historic property. Perfect to relax & unwind.”
“If you love historic places to stay you’ll love this inn. There are pictures of when it was a fishing inn from the early 1900s. The floors are creaky and it’s not very soundproof but the location is off the main road so it’s fairly quiet there. The road down to the river from the inn is sort of trashy - apparently lots of fishermen hang out there at times. We didn’t stay for breakfast which isn’t included in the room price. The staff woman who welcomed us was amazing and very kind - even fresh-baked cookies were available! Keep in mind there’s no TV and the starlink internet network is fast. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Oh and very squishy yet very comfortable beds.”
“Beautiful location and garden. Décor and furniture to match the age of the building set the scene. We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch in the evening chatting with other guests watching the sun go down over the river. The bedroom and bathroom were a cosy fit, but only to be expected taking into account the age of the building. There was sufficient space, just, with two large suitcases as the bed was a small double, but no problem for us, the porch and lounge spaces were lovely area's to relax. Great breakfast options at extra cost were available and of a very good standard, great service too, again overlooking the river. Would definitely recommend and stay again in that area.”
