“Very unusual and eclectic decor. Staff was great and breakfast was very good. The decor of the house seemed to be a mishmash of styles, but very interesting. Could probably use an update to the paint and carpet. It would be nice if they had some rooms offering king size beds.”

“A little dated for our taste as too overstuffed with knick-knacks. Probably appropriate to the period but we like a little more updated décor.
Breakfast was good, Nice old Home seems well cared for. We stayed in an addition beside the Inn. Walking distance to nice active town with some good artist shops and Saturday farmers market. ”

“The staff was very friendly and courteous. The breakfasts were excellent. The house was a beautiful old house in a very convenient location.
The old claw foot tub was slippery so a non slip mat for the tub would have been a good item for the hotel to provide. ”

“Amid covid restrictions we had this enormous, art-filled inn all to ourselves and were treated like family. Delicious breakfast each morning with fresh-squeezed orange juice, Belgian waffles with homemade whipped cream and Miss Faye's famous grits-which was my personal favorite (GOOD GRACIOUS!)....even though it was just us. That is hospitality. Read the history of the inn, take the time to appreciate all of the incredible antiques and art and enjoy this historic place.
