From the warm homemade cherry pastry and offer of water on arrival to the incredible breakfast as we left, every need was taken care of. The room was comfy and clean and we were within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. And the ride to the station with all of our luggage was much appreciated. Incredible hosts!!”

“Ian and Kate were spot on and just what we needed after a day of hiking and exploring. Friendly and approachable but gave us our space. Helpful with dinner ideas. They cooked a delicious made to order breakfast that left nothing to be desired. Highly recommend!”

“I arrived just after 8pm and was personally and kindly welcomed to The Old School House. After a long day’s walk, I was offered a drink, which was much appreciated. My bags were taken to my room, and I was given a tour of the property.Breakfast was homely and delicious, and I enjoyed meeting some lovely fellow guests. The place was immaculate, and the hosts were absolutely charming.I would definitely stay again and it was just what I needed after a 30-mile walk! ”
