The Swan | Hotel in Arundel, England

“All the staff were exceptional. Could not fault them. Great cocktails. Great breakfast. Just lacks somewhere to sit and drink without being surrounded by people eating. Room. For the price point it is lacking. Could fit a wardrobe with drawers in which would make it tidier. Alternatively hooks to hang coats and hooks at end of shower to hang your towel. Dressing gown had a hole in the sleeve. Sheets were stained. Needed a good dust especially panelling in bathroom and tops of doors, mirrors. Loose toilet seat. Encouraged to reuse towels which we did so left to dry. Cleaner then proceeded to fold them up. Thought we hsd been given new ones. Luckily I checked so I could get them dry before the next use. Would not hv been happy with a damp towel. Great location just needs a bit more attention to detail in the rooms. Staff particularly manager on fri/sat morning were amazing”

“The staff were friendly and extremely helpful when asked for anything.”

“Lovely hotel with amazing food”

“We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay at The Swan in Arundel. Shortly after we checked in, Harry was amazingly helpful and accommodating when there was an issue with our room. All the staff were very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Reading lights are always a big plus, but more supportive pillows would be an improvement. The Swan is conveniently located at the base of the High Street, so very easy to walk to the castle, museum and shops. We also had an excellent meal in the restaurant. We will definitely go back again.”

“Super lovely staff! Went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend”

“Lovely rooms all recently refurbished. Great breakfast and a good selection of evening meals. Rated one of the top places to eat in Arundel”

“You couldn’t get a better place to be in the centre of Arundel! The team were amazing even when a band I work with (Trinity) wanted to play an impromptu set for all the folks! They were so great in all their service and helping us! Brilliant room and great breakfast! Thank you!”

“Great stay. The rooms were lovely and the staff were great. Albeit a very hot evening in an old place the fan was just enough. Can’t expect ac in such an old property but would be nice. They didn’t know on our booking we had a child as the third party and the hotel had mis communication but they quickly rectified the issue, just wish it had been sorted before we checked in late. Breakfast was great and staff were amazing”

“The Swan is a great place to stay for location as it’s close to the castle and Cathedral and the high Street. The manager gave exceptional service and made sure we were comfortable, and we looked after. The food and beverage was outstanding. Strongly recommend this to anyone”

“We booked last minute, only a snug room was available, this was perfectly fine for 1 night . Had everything we needed, staff were very helpful . Perfect location in the centre Arundel .”
