Summary: Room was clean and had everything we needed for our one night but the mattress was far too soft, pillows were flat and the green emergency light far to bright for such a small room. Hindered our sleep.
We advised the staff there that we would have an early check out of 6.30am the next day so we ordered a breakfast tray to takeaway. We were told it would be left outside our door by 11pm that night. We didn’t receive the breakfast and no one was present at check out. We therefore text the emergency telephone number to let someone know and to let them know where we left the key (since there was no return key box) and we still haven’t had a response. For the price we paid we didn’t receive the service expected.

Summary: Good location for south coast visits and National Trust and garden properties nearby. Excellent breakfasts, plenty of tea/coffee and toiletries in room and good parking facilities. Handy to be in the pub with drinks and evening meals. If you have a room on the front can be noisy with passing traffic despite double glazing. Bathroom nicely decorated but shower can take an age for hot water to come through. Overall though it was good for us for the couple of nights stay we needed for local visit.

Summary: Fantastic weekend at the Wheatsheaf! Room and ensuite bathroom incredibly clean, staff very friendly and always happy to chat, excellent food and great location. What more could you want? Thanks again to Jess and her fab team. We will definitely be back.

Summary: Really nice atmosphere about the place. Super nice and thoughtful staff. The layout of the single room was a bit odd but the bed was comfy and I had a great night's sleep.

Summary: Excellent location in Sussex, edge of village but a lively pub with good food. Very good breakfast in the room cost. Very pleasant staff with a warm welcome

Summary: Great location and easy free parking which is always a bonus. The room was great and the best thing was the welcome where a lovely member of the team took the time to explain everything in person. This was absolutely brilliant, and whatever they didn't say was in a very well designed user manual/handbook. I would say excellent in every way!

Summary: A great location on our way to Brighton. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The evening meals and breakfast were both delicious with great presentation. A lovely setting. It was an incredibly hot night and a fan aided sleep. Would definitely return.
