“Hotel is quite good but staff were totally unresponsive when we reached out by phone and email to retrieve an item left in our room.”

“Soooo nice to get a room with AC after spending the last month staying in steamy warm bedrooms with thick comforters on the beds! The spa is nice too”

“Lovely hotel! Nice touch to provide cold cans of water by reception. At times the housekeepers in other rooms were extremely loud, when cleaning rooms. It felt as though they were coming through the walls!”

“Our room was 003 on ground floor, great position but terrible condition. Wallpaper is ready to fall off walls and the floor a bit uneven by bed so be careful The rest of the hotel and Spa was amazing. So clean and comfortable. Staff so friendly The buffet breakfast was good. All tasty and plenty of choice Hopefully if the rooms are renovated to bring the standard up to the rest of the hotel, it will have 5 star reviews from everyone”

“Everything was fine, but nothing more. Room was comfortable. Blinds were broken, double glazing broken, aircon not working properly. Hairs in the toilet and shower. Good tea tray; and water in room. TV worked well. Breakfast was average, very watered down apple juice. Coffee machine broken. Pain au chocolate inedible / stale. Didn’t use the spa”

“Excellent service and facilities, from start to finish. Free little gifts and water bottles to keep hydrated were a lovely and much appreciated surprise. The evening meal (lamb with side of creamed leeks & brocolli) and mocktail were amazing, probably the best ever. Car park was not entirely clear, but worked out in the end, except for there were no electric charging points free, in either of the hotel or adjacent council car parks.”

“Good location, The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was very clean. The air conditioning /heating in the room was uncontrollable, However the staff were really helpful in trying to control it. Breakfast was not great, limited options, tinned mushrooms, eggs were overcooked and unappetising, the use of shared marmalade jars is so very Unhygienic and a major offput. Car parking in many hotels these days is becoming expensive and tight, this hotel was no different.”
