Timberholm Inn Reviews
“We have stayed here many times, but this was our first time with the new owner/proprietor. Absolutely love the location and amenities, even if the rooms are a tad small. I do wish there was more interaction with the staff (we loved getting to know the previous owner that way, and it makes you feel so welcome), but I do think this is especially needed in the morning as housekeeping came to clean our room before we had checked out, which could have been entirely avoided if someone was there to see that we still had our key.”
“We didn’t know that this was a family owned establishment when we made the booking but on site it’s obvious. Both Hannah and one of her sons welcomed us warmly! The lodge itself is very genuine and cozy, the homemade breakfast was amazing. Our last morning we saw a black bear in the garden as a bonus! It’s a short drive in to town and all in all this was a great place to stay at!”
“The building is older and the walls are very thin. They do provide a sound machine to try to help cover up some of the noice of other guests. Keep in mind that the cedar room is very small as was the bathroom. I couldn’t bring my arms up to do my hair without both hitting the walls. I literally had to stand sideways. I can’t comment on the other rooms, but if you are at all claustrophobic, I wouldn’t choose the cedar room. The grounds were terrific. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and even saw a bear!”
