“It was my first time in Stowe, VT. I’m glad I choose to stay at Topnotch. The hotel staff were very pleasant and super nice. Love the room, it was very clean and tidy. Amazing place to stay for my little weekend getaway with my love. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. Also, ate dinner at the restaurant and the food was great. Breakfast at the flannel was a great as well.”

“The pools were the star for my grandkids. The evenings were cool but the outdoor pool was heated keeping kids happy. I wish I knew there was free coffee before the last day! It wasn’t verbally told to us at check-in. We also found out on the last night of available spaces for social gatherings playing games etc. There should be a written notice of amenities available. Other Hotels give you a list of WiFi passwords and other options available to the guests. We didn’t know what was available. Too bad as it was otherwise a great vacation but it put a damper on it.”

“The staff at the spa, pool and restaurant were great. The shower in our room was broken and this was only discovered on the morning that we were set to check out (this was a one night stay). When front desk staff were notified nothing was offered (not even an apology for the inconvenience) to decrease the impact of the broken shower other than to send maintenance to the room to fix it. Again, this was hours before we were set to check out and we had a spa treatment so opted to not wait for the hotel room shower to be fixed and used the spa showers instead. While overall our stay was relaxing the broken shower was a challenge not readily addressed by front desk.”

“We had a great stay at Topnotch. Spent most of our time by the pool with a few trips into town. The room was nice and clean. The pool was wonderful and the setting was beautiful. We will be back!”

“The hotel is very average with a not so impressive outdoor pool and nothing else to do on the property. The staff is courteous but the property even charges you extra for a basic s’mores making kit for kids. In short too expensive and not worth the $$$.”

“I had a great stay at the Topnotch Resort. It had a great friendly comfortable feel to it and at the same time a luxury experience. The views from the outdoor pools were amazing and the indoor pool and hot tub were amazing too. I loved the waterfall effect to massage your shoulders and the power jets to massage your back and legs. I wished the outdoor hot tub had power jets too. The bar was great but I didn’t try any dining when I was there. I Checked out the spa and it had first class offerings. The service was fantastic and I really enjoyed talking to the J1 employees and hearing about where they came from. It makes you want to travel and see their beautiful countries. The room was excellent too but the bathroom was starting to show as a little worn. Overall an amazing property and I really appreciated Jeff asking about my stay and wanting to hear the feedback - both good comments and notes where you improve. It’s that kind of attention and response that tells you an organization or business cares about excellence and wants to use that information to make things even better. Very impressed by the resort!!”

“Highlights first: Definitely a top notch gym! The same for the views, the spa area, and the concierge. We really enjoyed the pools and it was good to have indoor and outdoor options. The staff and drinks at Flannel were great! Low lights: There needs to be more monitoring of kids’ behavior at the pool because the parents sure didn't set enough boundaries. Enforce no jumping, diving, and hot tubs for unaccompanied kids. The food at the restaurant (the Roost) was pretty mid and the least enjoyable part of our stay. The faucet in the shower/tub screeched like crazy when in shower mode. Overall: we’ll be back.”
