Positive: Great location, great visibility for sea and people and dog watching.
Negative: Just details.
Downstairs floor tiles with pieces missing that are unsightly and distracting.
WET towels, lots of them, were stacked in upstairs shelves next to bathtub.
Open layout upstairs is problematic for those needing privacy/ soundproofing.
No blinds on upper windows a little annoying, and blinds need a few more tabs to be comfortably pullable.There was no sponge or dishcloth. No bathmat downstairs.
We would have appreciated a salad spinner - most places provide them.
The bedroom had musty smells. One side of the bed was crowded against the cabinets and it was awkward to maneuver.
Lovely ceiling marred by large water stains.

Positive: The location was excellent. There was no breakfast.
Negative: Some of the baking pans were dirty and there were many drawers and closets full of tools and personal items in kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There was Round Up and a sprayer being stored on the floor in the bathroom utility closet. This is a dangerous chemical that should not be stored in the house and we had a toddler with us, which made this especially disturbing. Also the entire west wall was windows, which gave a wonderful view, but there were only blinds installed on the lower levels of windows. My husband went out after dark and looked at the house from the street and could clearly see everything happening in the loft. The loft had two beds and a bathtub in it, which was amazing, but anyone using them could clearly be viewed from the street.
Summary: Unusual house right on the ocean. We loved the claw foot tub and loft.

Positive: Great view, loved the tall ceilings and windows. We loved looking at the sunset each night. Kitchen has everything we needed for meal prep, loved the big kitchen table for our family of five. Great location and we could walk to town. Flowers on the property were beautiful.
Negative: The full size bed on the first floor was old, sagged in the middle and was uncomfortable.
Summary: Great views, great location and we loved the floor to ceiling windows.
