“Everything was perfect and honestly even better than we expected! The room looked exactly like in the photos on Booking. It was very spacious, comfortable and, most importantly for us, extremely clean. We had everything we needed during our stay. Vittoria was such a kind and helpful host. She was always asking us if we needed anything and really made us feel welcome. We especially appreciated her help on our first evening. We went into town by train, but later that evening the trains were cancelled and we had no way to get back to the B&B in Parghelia. We sent Vittoria a message and she immediately helped us by sending her son to pick us up and bring us back. We really appreciated it! Another lovely detail was breakfast. Vittoria gave us a sheet where we could choose what we wanted for breakfast. I mentioned that I am lactose intolerant, and that same evening she went out to buy lactose-free products especially for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture and meant a lot to me. The location is also great. The train station is only about a 5–7 minute walk away, and the beautiful Spiaggia Michelino is very close as well, around 10 minutes to the stairs leading down to the beach. We really loved our stay, Parghelia and this beautiful part of Calabria. If we come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again. We would also happily recommend this B&B to our friends. “Staying at Vicky’s House in Parghelia has been an absolute delight! The owner is one of the most wonderful, caring, and genuine people you could ever meet. She truly goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home. Everything here is spotless and perfectly clean. The breakfasts are delicious and served straight to your room, complete with amazing home-baked cake and thoughtful little surprises that made our stay so special. The location is also ideal - super close to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. Nothing is ever a problem for her, and her hospitality is truly heartwarming. “We stayed at Vicky's house for a week and it was a real pleasure to be her guests!❤️ I have stayed in many b&b's, but Vicky's house deserves a special mention. The room is very nice and has all the necessary amenities, the beds are exceptionally comfortable! The room is very clean, cleaned perfectly every day. Vittoria - the owner is a very nice, hospitable person. Throughout the stay we were in contact with her via WhatsApp and she always responded quickly and was very helpful. She even lent us an umbrella for the beach and ordered a transfer from the airport for us. Breakfasts prepared by Vittoria were delicious and always nicely served. In addition, sometimes a sweet surprise was waiting for us unexpectedly, like cookies etc., which was very lovely 😊 Vittoria's house is located in a good location, easy to get on foot to the beautiful Michelino beach, train station, shop or restaurant. If someone is going to Calabria, I highly recommend Vicky's house in Parghelia!❤️”
