Villa Christina | Hotel in Kanapitsa, Thessaly

“The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. Depending on the room the appliances did not work which we didn’t find out until everything went bad, if you want to get waited on, ever here the term if you want it done do it yourself. Your better off because you’ll be waiting an hour if not more not only for food, for drinks, for someone to even look your way for service. Some of the staff was rude even when we weren’t, when we first got there they were rude and almost like they didn’t want to help. Overall would not recommend the villa or skiathos to be completely honest. ”

“I had a very pleasant stay. Especially the beaches nearby are very beautiful and can be highly recommended for people who like swim in the sea (I didn't use the pool). The room was very clean but partly needs some refurbishment. ”

“Villa Christina is in a lovely setting of different buildings around a pool with a bar. The owner was very helpful and the room quiet. It is however a long way from the centre of town and anywhere so, if you have a car, no problem- All the staff were helpful...rooms were fine though could be updated especially the bathrooms but i think maybe i am nit picking here....if you want to sit round the pool and sip drinks in a convivial setting then this is your place.”

“Villa Christina is a beautiful hotel, run by some lovely people. It is set in lovely gardens, with a very nice, clean pool. My room was very spacious and right next to the pool which was very convenient. The hotel is in a wonderful location, set on a hill very close to several beaches. I was greeted by the owner, Miltos, who was very welcoming and extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. His staff were also all very lovely too and made my stay even better. I would recommend you stay here. I am definately going to be returning to Villa Christina on my next visit to Skiathos. ”

“Mix up on arrival as we were not expected! Owner was able to accommodate us in a room for the first night . The room did not have any facilities such as a kettle etc. but it was adequate, We were upgraded to a suite for the remainder of our stay which was lovely. Enjoyed our time at the villa. Staff very friendly and helpful”

“We enjoyed the Villa, and its excellent staff, as well as breakfast. We were a bit surprised about the mixup in our reservations, and the the need to move several couples to other hotels from our group of 20. The owner managed it well, and was very gracious in terms of facilitating a 70th birthday gathering from Sweden, England and the US -- and all of us did I have quite a wonderful time.”

“The hotel is isolated, peaceful and quiet. The pool is of solid size. There is a path through the woods that leads to the beach, but it is not very pleasant nor near. The car is absolutely necessary. Rooms are spatious, but the furniture is very outdated. Very large beds. The food is very monotonous - breakfast is always the same. Dinner is ok, but desert is a small peace of fruit or a tiny ice cream. The staff is friendly.”
