“Our stay at Villa Ljubanovic in Budva made this holiday truly unforgettable. The location, the room, the view — all wonderful — but what really made the difference were the people. From the moment we walked in, we felt not like guests but like family. The owner welcomed us with the warmest smile, asked where we were from, and took the time to tell us exactly where to go and what to see in the city — he even personally booked us a table at his favourite local restaurant one evening. Rarely have we experienced such sincere, heartfelt hospitality. The staff were just as amazing. Greeting us by name every morning, remembering our little requests before we even mentioned them, doing everything with a genuine smile — it warmed our hearts. When one of us felt unwell one day, the care and kindness they showed went far beyond hotel service; it was real human warmth. Spotless cleanliness, a generous and delicious breakfast, a comfortable room — but what we carried home with us was the warmth of the people. We will be back in Budva, and without a second thought we will stay here again. Our heartfelt thanks to the owner and the entire team for their incredible hospitality. Five stars is not enough!”

“Our visit to Ohrid was a truly memorable experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, setting the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our host was attentive throughout, always on hand with helpful advice and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. A particularly thoughtful touch was the special welcome arranged for our daughter’s birthday, which made the occasion even more meaningful and one we’ll always remember. The accommodation itself was spotless, well-presented, and ideally located, making it easy to explore everything Ohrid has to offer. It provided the perfect base for our trip, combining comfort with convenience. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone planning a visit to Ohrid. “Nicely situated hotel, walking distance to old town & many restaurants. A good gyros place right next door too, if you want a quick bite. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but overall OK. Bed was quite comfy with two pillows, room was not huge or modern but still OK. Some notes though: Construction next door was LOUD and continued throughout the week, also on the weekend. The room had very old carpet so I'd pack some slippers to wear in the room. The bathroom: there was only a really bad holder for the shower head, it wasn't really usable as it was high and kept the shower head vertical so the water was sprayed to the wall... The glass shelf under the mirror was loose and wonky so there was very little space to put things. There was a plastic cup for toothbrushes but it was very dirty. Also the coffee cups were dirty when we arrived, although we got clean ones after a few days. (We used glasses for coffee so it was fine, at least they were clean.) Note: if you have a car, there is a private parking lot next door that needs to be paid IN CASH. It was 7 euros per day. There are other lots nearby, but paying for parking was not exactly easy if you don't have a local phone plan, parking is about 1 euro per hour and parking tickets are issued quickly.”

“What a little gem of a find we booked 3 nights and stayed 7 . We had the top floor appartment with a massive balconey . Comfy beds . Nice air con. Owner Egor was so kind and helpful he had an issue with the kettle within 30 mins qe had a new one delivered . The elevator is effective and clean . Bathroom has all you need . Clean towels everyday . If you want anything youbjust whatsapp and you are helped . Would stay again . ”

“We paid a little extra to have the suit with the biggest balcony which had a sea view, overall the rooms were pretty good, with a TV and fridge in both rooms, and air conditioning in the living room, the rooms were a bit dated but clean and the bed comfortable. A few little things let it down a bit that could be cheap and easy to fix. The shower head holder was broken so had to hold it the whole time whilst having a shower, the huge balcony was slightly let down by the broken furniture and all the furniture in the living area had no handles. But overall a good place to stay and good value for money.”
