“We chose to stay at Villa Melissa because it was far enough out of the way of tourist areas but close enough to shops. The villa itself is well sized and there was plenty of room for 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 toddler (she slept in our room in a travel cot). Mike was there to meet us on arrival and show us around, there was breakfast in the cupboard and fruit in the fridge. Mike's mum even made us dinner one evening. This is a lovely villa in a quiet part of a nice island, we look forward to returning and exploring more in the future.”

“The Villa is beautiful and very clean. Mike and family had generously stocked the kitchen with food for our arrival and they also prepared a beautiful home cooked meal for us during our stay. The location is perfect by the sea and walking distance from tavernas and shops, even in the off season when many were shut. The kids loved the pool with inflatables even if it was a little cold still in April! Some lovely deserted beaches nearby too. Mike was responsive throughout our stay to any questions. A perfect place from which to explore Crete on our first visit to the island.”
