“if you are content with the modular accommodation offered by the Chain Hotels this isn’t the place for you. But if you would like somewhere with character and history both in the Villa and the town then this is the place. The typically French house is divided into several self-contained apartments with free parking opposite which adjoins a small park on the edge of of the Gironde Estuary and near to the huge Citadelle commissioned by Louis X1V in the 18th Century. The welcome extended by the Owners was exceptionl and the common theme in the Guest book was “We wish we were staying longer!””

“Such a relaxing and lovely location! Highly recommend this over busier locals like Bordeaux. Great market, friendly staff, beautiful views.”

“We stayed for 3 nights in Villa St Simon. The apartment was gorgeous and very clean. The hostess gave us a lot information about the area and places to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to go back. ”
