Great little country pub. Friendly manager and staff. Excellent food and cask beer.
Sadly, the accommodation was neglected and in need of some tlc. The sink in the bathroom was cracked, and there was no light bulb above the bathroom mirror. The chair to sit up to the desk to work, had a collapsed bottom and was not fit for purpose. The cleanliness was poor, particularly in the bathroom where there was old soap suds on the handrails in the shower. On a positive note the bed was comfortable.
Room dirty and dated bed wasn’t great and breakfast was cheese and ham however it was cheap
