“It’s important for people to know that if you book this property in the summer there is no air conditioning! It was 33C when we stayed there and there wasn’t even a fan in the room. Also, website said there were outdoor games (badminton etc) and board games in the lobby for the kids but we couldn’t find any and there are no staff on-site. Overall it’s a charming lodge but perhaps better for a winter stay. ”

“Rowan was very nice and we loved the location. We were in room 10. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but the bed linens really need to be replaced. The pillows were flat and awful. Plus the bottom sheets were stretched out of shape and would not stay on the beds while we slept. Other than that, it was fine.”
