“Check-in and out was easy despite us doing so after hours without the presence of staff. Breakfast fare was plentiful and available at all hours. Note that there is only one road into the property and we encountered a sign stating that the bridge connecting the lodge to Golden would be closed between 11pm and 7am.”

“Booked this property for proximity to the gondola, 10/10. The breakfast was the biggest surprise — probably the best continental breakfast we’ve had at a hotel. All the milk options (oat, almond, cream, milk), lots of protein options (shout-out to the egg bites, but there was also hard boiled eggs, peanut butter, etc), fruit and cereal. Can’t comment on the staff because we never saw any— it’s a property seemingly designed for minimal interaction.”

“The communication and self check in was great. We arrived later, and check in went well. The coffee insuite and breakfast self serve food options available were a great touch. Others staying there were friendly. It felt like home and we'd definitely stay there again.”

“A quick stay in Golden with son and grandson. The lodge was beautiful. Our son used the sauna twice after hiking and in the morning before our departure. The breakfast was perfect, coffee was great and the young lady in house keeping was so very pleasant. We will definitely stay here again our next trip to Golden.”

“This primarily a winter resort adapted to summer, but offering excellent accommodation. About 15 minutes outside Golden up in the mountains, so not really practical to go to have dinner in town. No worries .. the on site restaurant was excellent with Columbian influences. Out waitress was excellent. Good beer too. Note: you should check of the restaurant is open on the nights you are there. I noted that during certain months it is not open everyday.. The rooms are large and comfortable. Buffet style breakfast is available but doesn’t include ‘cooked’ items. You can reheat something resembling omelet in the microwave and a toaster is available. Nespresso machine are available in the rooms. One thing to consider … if you plan to do some hiking or biking from the resort, there are a lot of mosquitoes! We wanted to do an after-dinner walk but we abandoned in less that 5 minutes. Even with bug spray / cream I was bitten several times.”

“Fabulous breakfast. Large room with comfortable bed. Great shower. Wonderful customer service. We had left an item behind and were contacted promptly by the hotel, so were able to return to collect it. Peaceful, pretty location”
