Econo Lodge Painted Post - Corning | Hotel in Painted Post, New York

“We made a last minute reservation for a late night stop. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Very reasonable rates. The breakfast was lacking a bit. No fruit, eggs, or breakfast meats. Waffles, bagels, and yogurt were available.”

“Just fine hotel for the night. Good location. Bed was comfortable.”

“Air condition is too noise”

“Room was nice, breakfast was good, staff was helpful.”

“The building did not have an elevator, and our room was on the 2nd floor. Thus, we had to haul our heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Lack of an eleavtor is problematic for those with mobility issues (such as my spouse), strollers, or multiple pieces of luggage. The building had a luggage cart, but this was useful only if your room was on the 1st floor. In 2026, why wouldn't a hotel have an elevator? Our room (202) was clean, but the heater in the bathroom was disgusting. It was old, dirty and had peeling paint around the upper edge. The breakfast was lousy. The selection was either yogurt or cheap baked goods -- and the baked goods were stale. There were a few bananas, but they were heavily spotted. In short, don't stay here. It's a dump.”

“Very basic room, nothing special. Comfortable bed, not closet - clothes bar in the corner of the room. Tried to put us on 2nd floor with no elevator, finally changed it to 1st floor. Breakfast was super basic. Nothing fresh (made on-site). Stuff in the fridge or make-it-yourself like waffles, toast or bagels. Good location near Corning, Elmira or other smaller towns in the area. We only stayed one night so it was fine.”

“Good for stay, Peaceful environment”

“The motel was good value! The area was quiet and close to Walmart and restaurants. We would stay again while travelling in the area. The breakfast choices were very limited.”

“Amazing experience! Helpful staff, cleanly room, all amenities needed. Had such a comfortable night!”

“It was a comfortable room, the AC wasn’t great, but it kept the room bearable and the bed was good. The breakfast was minimal, but at least something. My favorite part of my stay was the cookies they had in the lobby every evening at the end of a long day, a very nice touch.”
