“The hotel is located about a 3 minute walk from the Flam train station and most activities in Flam, and the scenery is exceptional. We got lucky and only had a cruise ship docked for a few hours during our stay (you can check the schedule at the Flam port's website, but it does change sometimes.) The breakfast was okay and did have eggs, potatoes, beans, and bacon among other Nordic options. The staff were nice and helped arrange a local taxi when we needed one. This area of Flam is quite touristy (feeling a bit like a Disney park), but if you're only there for tours and other activities, you're in the right spot. If I came back, I'd consider staying in nearby Aurland, which is less touristy, just as scenic, and is only a 10-minute taxi drive away (there are local companies you can call for a pickup).”
