“I wasn’t sure about sharing bathrooms but it was no problem. It was nice to have a kitchen. Wet cooked up steak and eggs for breakfast. The location is prime too. Nice place”

“High winds at sea delayed our ferry, so our overall trip to Vestmann Island was cut short, but we made the most of our time. Lava Guesthouse was very centrally located and wonderfully clean and comfortable. The bathroom, in particular, was quite nice, and the kitchen facilities were an added plus. I wish we could have stayed much longer!”

“We stayed in the family room with the priate bathroom. Its on the first floor and was a lovely room with a modern bathroom. Its right next to the kitchen, but its alsp on the ground floor so you may hear some noise from the upstairs guests. This guesthouse is right next to Gott, which is a FABULOUS restaurant at which we dined for both lunch and dinner. It's within a few blocks of a pharmacy and one of the hiking trailheads. ”

“Good location in centre. Well equipped kitchen. Good showering and toilet facilities. Helpful allowing us to drop bags in the morning before check-in.”

“Excellent for a last minute change (another property on the island failed to provide check in instructions). Room is clean, spacious. The kitchen has utensils, cups, plates, cookware, and a tea kettle -- but be mindful, it's right next door to another guest room. There's a Kronan and Bonus in walking distance if you'd rather cook than eat out. The owner can come out and help on very short notice if needed, but he communicates via phone. ”
