“Being close to the ocean and the view is great, thought we were getting a balcony but didn't that was kinda disappointing. However the staff and apricot property mascot, was great! I believe as old as the property is it needs to upgrade to an infusion smell so you don't smell pinesol. I felt it was very clean. Just older. We didn't eat at the resteraunt but looked good.”

“The staff were friendly. Communication was lacking. No cleaning service unless specified. However the notice to this information was a small card taped to the check in counter with no communication regarding it. We did not see it, it was not posted in our room anywhere, so we were rather surpprised to comeback to a dirty room with no coffee packets. We weren't aware of this until we stopped at the front desk to inquire about it. Our room, while clean, had a desk chair that was ripped to the foam core, drapes that did not cover the window sufficiently, a screen door to the balcony that did not work and no shower curtain liner. The view was lovely, the wait staff in the restaurant/bar were very friendly. For the price we paid, we will not be back to this hotel.”

“The hot tub smelled like a nursing home toilet mixed with armpits. The pool and hot tub were both cloudy and unkempt. Bedding was visibly dirty at check in and bathroom had a weird odor. Location was great and food/service in the restaurant were good. Check in was a nightmare as they had over booked so our first night we were stuck trying to find an alternative hotel. The night front desk attendant was very rude.”

“Bedspread, pillowcases and towels were all dirty and stained. We asked for clean ones and had to redo room ourselves. Pool was dirty and hot tub was gross with hair floating in it. Stairs and hall floors were really dirty. The closeness to the ocean was about the only thing worth staying. The amount of money spent on this room fir 3 nights was way too much for condition of room.”

“The hotel staff were great! The hotel itself is reunion-down and is mot updated, or not updated well. The shower curtain was old and stained (so gross), the towels in our room were stained (again, so gross). We paid $280/night to stay and I expected a much higher quality experience. There was no lotion or shower cap in the bathroom. I’ve stayed at high end Hilton’s with better quality for less.”

“The only recommendation for this hotel is this location. It has an absolutely fantastic view of the bay and it’s right on the ocean, which is great, but the building has not seen any love for many many years and when I asked for an extra towel, they would not give it to me. I had to bring a towel down or pay $25 for a towel.”
