“We had a great stay at Pine Cottage. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, we were staying during the Canadian wildfires. Pine Cottage had masks for us to use outside while the air was poor. We enjoyed playing many of the games each afternoon as we drank our tea and ate the delicious cookies. We would definitely go back!”

Oh, and breakfast ... yum!!! I can't forget afternoon cookies!!! This is the place to stay on Mackinac Island, can't wait for next summer.”

“Let me begin with the most positive part: the staff was so kind and helpful! Really great! There are some things that I wasn't expecting. We had a "shared bathroom" on the 3rd floor. I wasn't sure what that meant. But what it meant was ONE bathroom for about 4 rooms (I think). If you need to use the bathroom during the night, you need to think ahead! The shower was the biggest issue for me. It was a clawfoot tub with a shower curtain around it. So... it was a matter of balancing enough to get INTO the tub, then the cloth curtain kinda hugs you as you are showering. it's quite a feat to get the temp right, and the curtain right and keep balancing. You might need to use your foot to figure this out! They told us, "you can use the one on the 2nd floor, which was a walk in shower". My husband did that.. He feels like it wasn't an issue. So, I just wanted you to know it was for me! But really, if you know (or choose a room with a private bathroom!) you will be fine.”

“Our room was small but adequate and clean. We had our own split unit AC, which kept the room nice and cool. The windows have been upgraded so that they are easy to open and close for that. Nice cool evening breeze. My favorite in keeper was Claire who went out of her way to cook me a gluten-free breakfast every morning despite all of her other responsibilities. We especially love teatime in the evenings. This property is located very convenient to downtown area. We had a great time and we definitely stay here again.”
