Summary: I had a very nice stay with the owners, Roger and Patricia, who were friendly and informative about their beautiful home and the Axbridge area. A good breakfast, comfy bed and peace and quiet. Nicely located for a stroll around Cheddar Reservoir, a walk into Axbridge or, better still, a visit to the awe-inspiring Cheddar Caves and Gorge.

Summary: Good sized room and ensuite. No locks on the door and no identifying numbers on the outside of each room. Suggest at least an inside bolt to stop guests opening the wrong door by mistake ! Could have been a bit warmer on a cool September night but no obvious way to turn up the heating.

Summary: Confortable and quiet stay with friendly staff and a beautiful property with incredible views. I would note that although the front door of the property locks, the individual bedrooms do not, which might be something that solo / security conscious travellers might want to be aware of in advance.

Summary: The home was great, the hosts were very pleasant and helpful. The food was great and the conversation was good. The grounds were beautiful great spot to see some wildlife. And the town was a quick walk down the street. Would highly recommend

Summary: Friendly welcome on arrival. Lovely Victoria hotel set in beautiful grounds with a view of the Cheddar reservoir. Room comfortable and clean, furnished in keeping with the age of the hotel. Full of character and very homely. Great value for money.
