Positive: Location of the cottage was perfect both for close proximity to walking in the Mendips, literally across the road, and exploring the coast only a few miles away. The cottage itself is extremely well appointed and instantly felt home from home. Comfortable, warm and thoughtfully kitted out with all essentials.

Positive: Well appointed cottage in a great location.
Easy to find and comfortable - with welcome pack of essentials.
Negative: A dishwasher rather than mashing machine would have been more use to us!
Beds could be better.
A mirror opposite the exit would make leaving driveway a little easier.

Positive: The location was fabulous. The cottage small but perfectly formed!
Negative: The loo was terrible. Heaven help you if you have weak fingers, as the pressure and length of time you have to push the button is a bit of a joke.

Positive:
Ideal for a couple on their own or with a child, this property is perfectly formed. It’s well laid out, comfortably furnished and the wood burner is a lovely addition on colder evenings. The kitchen had everything we needed and there is space outside to enjoy the sunshine. It a very peaceful location with pleasant walks up to Crooks Peak and Wavering Down and only a couple of miles to Cross for a choice of pubs. Nearby Axbridge is a gem of a town and it not far to Wells, Bristol and Glastonbury. Highly recommended.
Negative:
Nothing, it was great.
Summary: Perfect Somerset retreat.

Positive:
Location is middle of nowhere (if you're a suburbanite!) but there are amazing walks right from the front door, so in fact ended up very happy with the location. And local pub (New Inn) is so good we couldn't get a table!
Negative:
Property is fairly basically equipped. Blunt knives (no sharpener) etc, and it smelt a bit damp when we entered (soon banished by opening all the windows and doors), and a couple of windows in the road wall would make a world of difference as house was quite dark, but from recollection price was very reasonable, so excellent value for money and overall, very happy.
Summary: Great stay - thanks.

Positive:
Location was ideal. Very quite with just bleating lambs. There is a road at the rear of the property but not very busy and hardly noticed the noise as all the windows face into the courtyard.
Summary: Very peaceful stay in the countryside but also close to main attractions in the area.

Positive:
Quiet area, tiled floor downstairs and enclosed front garden which is perfect if you have a hound with you.
Negative:
The bed wasn’t very sturdy and made quite a noise when you moved, was ok for a short stay but as a light sleeper would’ve been an issue any longer.
Summary: Lovely location away from hustle and bustle
