Heathwood Inn Reviews
“This was a great place to stay. Was very comfortable and the inn was a beautiful place. I was surprised, I thought that breakfast was on site. Breakfast is offsite and I never wound up eating it so that is something to remember if you’re expecting to be able to walk downstairs to eat breakfast. But overall very comfortable and a great place to stay. It was extremely relaxing to be there and quiet.”

“We liked very much the property and the room we stayed in. Everything was above our expectations. There was a minor issue with a lock password, and the management staff was easily available, helpful and friendly.
Highly recommend.”

“Room was comfy with snacks and lovely linens . The sauna was a nice extra when the weather was pretty chilly and windy out in town all day . Even though we had breakfast off site , we ended up really liking how it got us up and out into town and we liked the little drive as the fall colors were spectacular ”

“Everything was fine except the pillows are awful. Please invest in some new pillows. I can recommend some affordable ones if you want. The shower is tiny. ”

“The room was clean and fine although the bed was far too soft. We were locked out of the building as our code did not unlock the door. There was no answer to the posted phone even though we called multiple times over two days. Please note there is no breakfast on the property but guests do have a voucher for a very good breakfast 15 minutes away. ”

“No staff on site. Had to drive 7 miles to breakfast. The inn is on a very loud street, so it was difficult to sleep with vehicle sounds all night. ”

“Nice older inn, actually quite a ways from Bar Harbor, but relatively quiet and comfortable. Nice lobby with snacks, coffee and even bottled water! ”
